The names of the winners of the Indrets de la Vall Fosca Photography Contest were made public on Saturday 12 September. A total of 130 photographs were submitted this year.
The ceremony took place at Capdella Town Hall and was attended by the astrophysicist and astronomy expert Kike Herrero, who then gave a talk on astrophotography.
The competition includes 4 categories, landscapes or spots in La Vall Fosca; jobs or activities that take place in La Vall Fosca; villages or heritage elements of La Vall Fosca, and finally native wildlife of La Vall Fosca. The best photo in each category receives a prize of € 246.91.
The best photo of the contest receives a special prize of € 493.83 and a unique award designed for the contest and made by the ceramist, Judit Casalprim (Barbutina). The winner of this award next year will be a member of the jury, and therefore will not be able to participate.
The jury is made up of three photography experts linked to the territory such as Ferran Grau, Josep Amorós and Francesc Farrús, a representative of the culture commission, a representative of the municipality and the winner of the prize for the best photograph of the competition. from the previous year.
